Training for Lithuanian Association of Dependence Disorders Specialists was carried out by Dr Bohdan Woronowicz, MD, founder of AKMED center in Warsaw (Poland), renowned specialist in psychiatry, certified addiction therapy specialist and certified supervisor of addiction psychotherapy with more than 40 years of experience and other addiction treatment professionals.

According to self-evaluation survey, dependence disorder specialists gave high marks for the implementation of the project.

However, the consultants wished more additional training (e.g. in working with co-dependencies and with juvenile addicts), more professional literature and also more additional funding that would enable them to carry out the consultations in the rural areas of Lithuania.

In 2018, also additional projects were carried out in Kaunas by Lithuanian Association of Dependence Disorders Specialists and their partners, that included establishment of supervised Addiction Support and Social Skills Recovery groups.
