In early July, on the way back home to Poland, numerous representatives from sobriety organizations from Warmia Mazury voivodeship used the opportunity and stopped for an afternoon in Kaunas city to meet the colleagues from Alano klubas and Association of Addiction Ailment Specialists (PLSA).

This meeting was retaliatory to the visit of Association of Addiction Ailment Specialists (PLSA) and Alano klubas representatives, as well as Kaunas, Marijampolė and Vilkaviškis municipalities‘ social workers to Lidzbark Warminski town in April, 2016.

In Kaunas Old town

Guests visited monuments to Jan Pawel II, the great Polish poet 19th century Adam Mickiewicz, and founder of Lithuanian sobriety activities, bishop Motiejus Valančius or Ksiądz Maciek

Besides sharing experiences on sobriety activities over the lunch table and presentation of the future of Alano klubas, the guests attended an excursion that presented the landmarks of Kaunas Old Town and important personalities that lived in Kaunas Old Town.
